Feeders
Continuous gravimetric feeder, designed for the dosing of granular, ground and flake materials in extrusion processes.
All the main parts of the feeder are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, including the truncated pyramid-shaped loading hopper.
All our extrusion feeders are supplied with:
- Lid and protective grid for cleaner and safer work environments
- Dual motors (screw motor and bridge breaker motor) sized to suit the required feed rate
- Weighing platform with a decentralized load cell (in the gravimetric version)
- Customized screw characteristics and hopper sizing, including after sample material testing
- Minimum and maximum rotary paddle level sensors for monitoring material loading into the hopper (if required)
- Installation on independent trolleys
- Controls incorporated into the touch screen panel installed on the extruder

Customization of the dosing system
Accurate dosing influences the final product quality and must be calculated considering the type of incoming material and its properties, as well as environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.).
Dosing systems can therefore be customized based on the project, to achieve the best line layout and the best possible fit of its technical characteristics to the material being processed and to meet every production requirement.
